This course will review the pulse sequences used in MRI. It will then provide information on how the time-varying gradient fields behave and how the RF interacts with our patients. This course will explain why certain pulse sequences cause more PNS than others and why others cause more heating. A list of sequences will be provided in this course so you can choose the right sequence for what you need.
The course will give suggestions on how to lower the negative effects from the time-varying gradients and RF pulses so our patient risk can be lowered and patient comfort can be ensured. Prepare to scan smarter so our patient’s can be safer.
